Lauren Niles Events is a boutique, full service event planning company that specializes in unforgettable weddings and stylish social events. With an emphasis on creating intimate parties that flow seamlessly and inspire endlessly, LNE designs with the understanding that every event is an extension of the hosts’ social graces. It is that understanding that allows us to take your vision, infuse it with a layered, refined design and create moments that evoke your personal style and incredible romance.

Lauren Niles Events is based in Baltimore, Maryland, but has worked throughout the state of Maryland, in Washington, D.C., Charlottesville, Virginia, and Naples, Florida. LNE happily accepts full service weddings nationally and internationally! 

 We especially look forward to working with couples in New York City, Charleston, South Carolina, 
Long Island, New York, Southern California and Michigan.

Most importantly, we work alongside you, taking care of every detail so you are free to enjoy the process of planning your momentous celebration. So, breathe. Take in the moment. Lauren Niles, Proprietor & Principal Planner

With six years of experience, a Bachelors of Science in Public Relations and coursework in Interior Decorating, Lauren aims to marry tradition to modern hospitality through every event the LNE team produces. It was her passion for classic style and romance that brought her to wedding planning, her aptitude for organization and detail that made her a success, and her love for visualization and art that has enabled her to create personal, carefully curated, and memorable events for couples across Maryland, D.C, Virginia and beyond. Lauren’s work has been featured in Style Me Pretty, Ruffled, Carats & Cake, Washingtonian Bride & Groom, Baltimore Bride Magazine, Junebug Weddings and more.


Lauren loves coffee in a pretty mug, Saturday morning breakfast, light streaming through windows, cooking to the tune of a great record, anything gold and sparkly, letterpress, her macbook, a gorgeous hand lettered script, a swoon-worthy Elie Saab gown, the Piazza Navona and most importantly, the smiles of her little family.

Brittany Szemborski, Associate Planner

Brittany Szemborski joined the Lauren Niles Events in December 2015 and has a deep-rooted passion for wedding and event planning. Brittany brings to the LNE team a background in marketing and communications from Clemson University along with three years of event planning experience. With a detail-oriented and organized mind, it is her mission to create a truly memorable event that is unique to each client. 

Growing up in a small town along the Chesapeake Bay, Brittany continues to have an affinity for water and draw inspiration from natural and organic elements. She loves velvety ribbon, linen fabrics, hand lettering, film photography, and an utterly romantic Samuelle Couture gown. In her spare time she enjoys relaxing with her growing family, cuddling with her two kitties (Duncan and Donut), and discovering a great new Mexican restaurant.

Sharon McCallum, Event Manager

Sharon has over a decade of event management experience within the hospitality industry. She has a degree in Business and Travel & Tourism. Being detailed oriented, having strong communication skills, a genuine passion for customer service and building relationships are key values that made her successful as a Director of Conventions for Marriott and Starwood and continue to make herself successful today. She is an excellent multi-tasker and is very organized. She prides herself to work hard to ensure wonderful and stress-free events.

Sharon loves spending time outside with her husband and family. She enjoys gardening, trying out new recipes, being crafty with her kids and photographing her children.

Antonia Miller Onufrak, Event Manager

Antonia grew up on a farm in Darlington, MD. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from Drexel University in Philadelphia and has seven years of experience in commercial & hospitality design. She's skilled in space planning, conceptual design, client relations, project coordination, & time management. She has an eye for the details and currently lives in Canton with her newlywed husband.

Antonia loves traveling, specifically in Italy. She'd spend all her time there if she could. Fun fact: got engaged at sunset in Cinque Terre...need we say more? She loves anything Kate Spade. Cake decorating. Calligraphy. Roman architecture or any space with a unique history. Intricate flooring or tile work. Photography; when traveling, you'll always find her with her Canon strapped around her neck. Animals; We hear she has a very distinct 'Eeeeee' squeal that she can't control whenever she encounters a dog or any kind of farm animal.

For the hands on bride who doesn’t mind a little emailing and a bit of crafting, we’ll act as your wedding consultant, allowing us to give you the direction you need by giving you access to our vendor network, setting up task checklists for you and meeting throughout the planning process. A knowledgeable resource at your disposal, we act as a guide through the planning and design and as your wedding coordinators six weeks out through the end of your wedding day!
